Indigo Dyeing & Japanese Shibori
Slow cloth. Natural indigo. A process of reveal.
|
Indigo is not rushed.
It is built slowly, layer by layer, through folding, binding, and immersion. Each piece emerges in its own time, patterns revealed only when the cloth is opened again. This is a quiet, hands-on experience. Working with natural plant dye, you are guided through traditional Japanese Shibori techniques stitching, wrapping, and resist. No two pieces are the same. Over the course of the day, you create something entirely your own a cloth or silk scarf, shaped by your hand and rhythm. |
